Happy 62 Everyone!

13 years ago tonight Our guy broke the hr record.

i remember being a sophomore in highschool sitting indian style on my beg. I even got choked up a little.
Regardless of what he was on, it will always be one of those "i remember where i was when" type moments.

Here are 62 related items that are my favorite.

One of my all time favorite cards.
I remember losing a bid to aquire the 40 Man Buyback version back in 2004. It ended at 1300$.
Last year i sent one in to be signed at a private signing he did. Looks even better then the buyback.

Anyone here have any of the Topps chase cards for sale. I need a bunch of Mac's and still a few Sosa's?

Your best shot is always a high BIN with the BO option so you can negotiate. I don't know what the grading landscape is like these days so I can't tell you what is good for those cards. I don't know of many graded McGwire collectors outside of Walt and I know he only goes after 9 or 10's.

I have a ton of McGwire base and inserts so if anyone wants a huge lot, lmk.
When my Dad was alive he collected everything McGwire. I even have a Tom of Highland Mint bronze coins commemorating #62. Lmk if anyone is interested.

Getting harder and harder to close the loop on these two sets. Knocked another off the tek list though. Apparently already had the refractor...doh!
