the a stroke does not flow with the rest after the first M. And the G which is the hardest to forge is very very bad. It's bogus. Im sorry to break the news. But you were mislead by someone. 19+ years, Trust me, im not an expert on anything in life, but when it comes to McGwire autographs, I will put my knowledge up against any authenticating service. Not trying to be God, but that's a fake signature.

McGwire has 4 kinds of signatures. - early 80's, mid 80's , 90's , late 90's/early 00's and his Ballpark signature. The ballpark is what he started in the late 90's to accomadate the crowds at the ballpark who wanted his signature. Your autograph resembles nothing like any of his 4 signature styles.

check out my photobucket. This is what real mac signatures look like.

I really need to update that site, it's ugly as sin not very user friendly at all.

For now though, an easier way to search for masses like that is to type in the search bar in the top right "mothers cookies", then hit "Search", then use that URL.

Link to all mothers cookies

Very nice! I'm kind of suprised you didn't have some of these. Ozzie is in almost all of these sets and they come up on Ebay every once and a while. I can tell you with certainty that the 91 Media Materials is a very rare card and you are lucky to have one (I've been looking for the Ozzie for years :( ). Very nice gesture.

Yeah I didn't know McGwire was in the Media issue (let alone twice), I also didn't know there was a silver variation of the RBI Magazine inserts nor did I know McGwire was on the back of the Yount Sports Card Review card. Rarely do I get to hear about McGwire cards I didn't know exist, let alone have a set of them given to me.

John = awesomeness!

So it turns out that it is not a Mother's Cookies card, its a 1989 Action Superstars card. Found the other last night looking around for something. Anyone need either?
