Anyone here have a Phillies player collection? I bought this 1995 Mellon Stadium Giveaway just to get the Daulton. So any of the other players (Dykstra, Schilling, etc) are available.

I love these Hard Hat cards. Has anyone seen or have the sample version of this card????

I love them too. I can't believe I didn't get the other one, but it was in a box of about 2,000 cards and the vendor didn't hang around his table for about 75% of the time.

If I can't sell these, I may pursue the set. I had interest in the Rolen but I haven't heard back.

So, I was searching around the WWW, and I find my #5 most wanted Gwynn card, and I am totally psyched, since I have been finding quite a few of my most wanted (my goals are low...these are not big cards!!). It's on a little website called Ebid.
So I sign up, place an opening bid ($10.00) and then notice it's a 30 day auction!!

30 days go by, and I win (no more bids, only 7 "views" which were probably all mine.)

I am pretty excited because it's a card I missed out both times I have seen it, and I would have paid a little more jsut to mark it off...
Then, the same day I win it, I notice on another website called Ebay that this card come up for auction (3 day auction).

What are the odds that this card comes up on the day I win mine??? I would submit the odds to be very high.

Anyways, today I win that card, too, with just a small bid just to mark the auction (yes, sometimes I "bid" instead of "watch")

I managed to sell the Rolen for $3. Looks like the Anderson's corner is bent but that isn't the case. I may keep the Anderson.

I bought a pack of 100 random cards today at rite aid for 4.99,i pulled a Will Clark Star card that is green and has Stellar on and only 500 were made.Are these worth ebaying?

Just joined the forum after (thankfully) finding this thread via Google. I'm just now starting to collect 90s inserts as it's awesome to be able to own some of the cards I drooled over as a kid. Here are a few of my recent pickups:


Anyone know if there's a case out there that will fit this thing? I'd love to be able to store it with my other cards in toploaders.

The other neat thing available with the 1997 Jumbo promos Donruss sent out was a standup display that featured the player list and these diplay figures are inserted onto the display. I never assembled mine, the players featured on the display are Thomas, Maddux, Arod hard hats, Juan Gon, and Cal Ripken. Below is a scan of the inserts. I don't want to unfold the display so I can't show the full stand.
