I've picked up a ton of Larkin's I needed lately (including a huge lot of 50+ that I didn't have), but haven't posted anything in a while. Figured I would show a few off. The real big one came from a board member here - Thanks again for helping me out to add that one to my collection :)

1997 Totally Certified Platinum Gold PSA 10 (10/30)

That's generally how the market works, but as far as I can tell, there's only one out there for sale and its an "overpriced" PSA 10 on eBay. I didn't check BMP, but nevertheless, they don't seem readily available. Probably doesn't help that they book low, but those odds are crazy.

Well, at 1:2880, you'd EXPECT these to be more rare, but rarity really only depends on print run. I'm guessing the print run is way high on this. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if a PSA 10 was priced high. Most of the raw ones on the market are probably nicked up by now from being passed around from average non-Griffey collector to average non-Griffey collector. If you ARE a Griffey collector and you ARE looking for a pack-fresh gem mint, good luck pulling this from a pack at 1:2880!!! Therefore, the price of a 10 might better reflect those 1:2880 odds than all the raw ones you find out there.

No kidding! Wow... that sucks... I was wondering why Belle had such a low serial number. I guess the guy who is collecting the set must have the 1/1 and a few other low-numbered cards because I think he only needs like 8 cards to complete the set.

I sold my ARod sometime in the last year. It was #ed/6.

He won't be completing the Future (gold) set
