The mailday is HERE. The MAILDAY is finally here.

I'll admit, I was dissapointed in the picture choice. I bought them unseen (and paid WAY too much) but was hoping for something like this brushing up against the CTA type, his classic follow through. Would've been PERFECT!

Too much for me I figured $500.00 at best I had to pass. I like the card but I have quite a few I would buy before that card. Mostly anything from 1996 to 1997 I am missing and the Crusade Red which is number 2 on my want list.

Bummer. I agree it went pretty high, though. It's rare and a cool card, but not on par with quite a few cards that sell in that range.

Not that worried just gives me time to save for my next bid.

Wow, that's a nice sale for the seller. I noticed the Jeter does not have the 00/00 serial number that mine do. Does that mean there are multiple copies out there? I bought mine from D&A when they sold the set but didn't pay attention to the other auctions at the time.

Each Statistical Standout is printed on a leather-like substance and is serial-numbered to 2500 copies. The first 250 copies are die-cut

I thought I had finished my Rainbow with the pickup of the Gold Press Proof (non checklist). As I was going into my list, I saw each card had a "Media Test Issue". Anyone know what those are?

I need to pay more attention to these versions of cards that have different variations based on the early part of a print run. I only have the non Die Cut statistical standout.

One time I passed on the die cut version of the Freeze Frame, because I thought I already had it. I was unaware of a die cut version and a regular version. Haunted me for a couple of years, then I was able to find another and scooped it up.
