Check out my son's name plate

Last year I set out to get SPA and SPX letterman auto patches to spell my oldest son's name. I completed the project, but have yet to get it framed. Looks like I picked the right set of guys. Now I am wondering if I should break it up and trade these off and get different ones.

Anyway, here are the letters I have and you can see why I am asking:

Having two son's now, I would not be able to get the same caliber of players for my youngest son Levi.

    Re: Question for the masses

From the looks of it you have a chance to keep a set with some guys who may be some of the top players in baseball over the next decade. In theory, in 5 years from now you could show him his name spelled out with a couple of MVP players and a couple of solid All-Star players. There may be value to you in that.

Switching to Razor you could spell his name cheaper, but there is a decent chance that the players on the cards will be meaningless to him, since many will likely already be out of baseball.

I think it's always risky to start trying to flip PC items with a plan on buying back later, so I would say to hold (plus you have the benefits mentioned above) but obviously it's your call.

The lesson here: name your third son "Ed."

On a serious note, the four you have are darn good ones. Good luck with your quest for Levi.

The good news is that the E and I shouldn't be too hard to find from some decent guys, if you get them out of the same set that you got the Rasmus from. Didn't a lot of them spell out "ROOKIE"?

Any thoughts of doing your last name?

At least you didn't name him "Tulowitzki".

Levi. Not going my the last name. That would be tough. 4 letters was difficult enough, let alone 7. I guess I'll keep those and start the new quest for Levi.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
