STARLIN! Dude was incredible today, luckily I saw him in person today. I love his current hitting style. He generally doesn't try to do too much and crushes line drives back up the middle. .393 baby!

Russell "has Muscle" Martin has gone deep for the 5th time this year!

6-0 Yankees.

Make that #6 for Russell Martin. And #6 for Jorge as well :)

Posada has NINE hits on the year, SIX for homeruns. Crazy, but I'll take it.

Martin is looking really really really good.

Gardner getting out of the slump with a HR.

Bean ball tomorrow or do they take care of it tonight? I would tonight myself.

I was down the hall, came out in time to see Gardner rounding the bases.

Heard them talking about it.

Yep, if he keeps this up, the Yankees will no reason to call up Montero all year.

No. The O's drilled Martin by the shoulder blades (intentionally) after he hit two home runs during the game. Brett Gardner followed that up with a 2-run HR. I believe he was referring to the Yankees retaliating against the O's.

Ichiro had a slow start to the season, he had been on pace for about 160 hits but has been doing quite well lately and 3 hits tonight brings his avg. over .300 and on pace for 206.

I almost wish he gave up a second solid hit (without giving up a run)......as it stinks the only hit was that come back that ricochet off his glove and the runner still just beat it out.

He was incredible tonight - and it's mind-boggling this is the same guy that pitched a couple weeks ago against Tampa Bay....but I suppose that describes Dice-K best.....expect the unexpected, if anyone thinks they know what they'll get from him on a given night - they are obviously lying.
Hope this good Dice-K continues though.....GO SOX!!!
