Josias Manzanillo took a Manny Ramirez line drive to that area while pitching in 1997. He ended up losing a ********. He did however, get up and recover to throw out a runner at home during the play... :shock:

On a related note, I once blocked a slapshot with all of the impact square on my cup.
It buzzed my twig a bit and left a goofy bruise in the shape of a cup.
