Nats/Giants 3rd Basaemen

Both got injured today for significant time. Both will have surgery. Sandoval out for 4-6 weeks with a fractured hamate bone. Zimmermann out till the All-Star break with a torn abdomen muscle.

Those 2 injuries are fantasy killers. Third base is already so thin to begin with.

Well, I'm glad I took Zimm in the 1st round in my Fantasy league.

Hopefully David Freese stays healthy now..

This really hurts the Giants. Pandoval was about the only hitter producing in the Giants line up. I hope he continues to maintain his workouts while recovering from his injury. Plus this type of injury leads to a loss of power for awhile after recovery.

I got the same predicament!

Zimm's already been out on the DL for 2 weeks. He was available to come back this past Tuesday, now 6-8 more weeks!!! Yikes!
