Pujols at .299 and 99 rbi in final game!

Albert Pujols has hit .300 with at least 30 homers and 100 rbi every year he's been in the league, a record 10 years. :shock:
Can he do it again? He's a freakin' Machine after all.

2-4 tonight, up to .294. both stats will be equally tough especially since the brewers will pitch around him this week imo

Right now he has 141 hits out of 480 AB for a .293 avg

24 games left
Lets say he gets 90 more AB's

He needs to get 30 hits over the last 24 games.
171 hits out of 570 AB for a .300 avg

Possible! He has 12 in his last 10 which is almost on the pace he needs to be on!

Someone do the math......
I know its hard to raise an average this late in the season with so many at bats...
but what does he need to do to get to 300????

I wonder if the voters will pay attention since he's been really quiet all season. Also not sure he deserves it over a guy like Kemp, but it's been pretty impressive.

if he goes 3-3 tomorrow all he has to do is bat .300 for the rest of the season, since he will officially be @ .300
he cant afford to be tankin any 0-5's at this point.

Real question is, will Howard's average even reach .250 and which is more likely to happen, Pujols have 10 more HR's than Ryan (P34, H30) or Howard have 110 MORE SO than Pujols (H153, P51) .

I have to say, I've noticed a ton of people getting on Schmidtfan20 for bringing up Howard in Pujols threads or pushing the comparisons, but it seems like in every recent post, it is someone else who brings it up first. It would be nice if the issue was just laid to rest... (just my opinion of course.
