Calm down fellas! I thought his reply was amusing and I chose to share it. Nothing more, nothing less. No reason to bring out the outrage.
However if you want to have a serious discussion about this, I'll say that your logic of "hey it's only $5 so who cares if it's damaged," is absolute crap. Whether it's $5 or $5000, you deserve to get what you paid for, in the condition you paid for.
