    The Walking Dead

Just caught this on Netflix this week and watched all season 1 episodes. Wow what a great series! I was excited when I looked it up and saw season 2 starts this week as well. If you've got Netflix, I'd recommend dvring new episodes and catching up on season 1. If you have any interest in this stuff, you'll enjoy it. Very well done IMO.

    Re: The Walking Dead

i just purchased the first season to rehash on sunday! my excitement is uncontainable. also if you havent read the comics you can get tradepages covering 6 episodes of the comic at once and save a bit of money. the show veered away from the books quite a bit but something tells me by the trailer with rick running through the field with a bloody child it may get back on track somewhat!

I'm incredibly excited for the next season. I watched the first season on tv then once more afterwards. Great series, very well done IMO. I'm really liking this expansion being done now to take movie themes and turn them into an actual tv series. (The Walking Dead/American Horror Story)

It was one of those shows I meant to watch and didn't. Can I jump in tonight without too much missing?
    Done.
The only card I want is a 2003-04 Bowman Chrome Patrice Bergeron Gold Refractor auto RC /5.

Can you record it tonight until you catch up?

Theoretically, yes. But I'm too lazy to actually catch up.

It's only six episodes to catch up and it's worth it.

Having Sophia run off was just a convenient device to further the themes they are trying to build this season. Through Sophia's disappearance you see the group fracturing, the pressure on Rick, Carl growing up, etc. etc.

I thought it was very good. It's a shame but I think being someone that's read and LOVED all the comics actually takes away from the enjoyment of the show. The comic is so brilliant to me, and there are so many amazing things that should be set to happen - I don't fully trust the show and am more anxious to see if they get things "right" (in my mind) that it doesn't allow me to simply enjoy what is a great show.

Finally Scanned everything I have into PhotoBucket - Take a look!

Player/Team Collector's - Scanning new inserts, rc's, etc. into my bucket each day. Sorted by team, or use the search to find players by last name. Click on picture for price (in the item description). Cheap cards, cheap shipping (pwe to flat -rate for whatever fits into a mailer)

I agree with the themes surrounding Sophia running off. I definitely had a feeling something would happen at the end when the three of them went off, specifically with Carl, but that was NOT what I was expecting. I'm really excited to see where it goes from here. I was more upset with the ridiculous amount of commercials than I was with the time spent in the woods.

Is anyone else really irritated by Andrea? I'm not entirely sure what it is, but there's something about her that just pisses me off. It almost seems like she wants to be around someone (or someones) that are capable of protecting her, but she has to have her way even if they're the ones protecting her.

Good acting for sure. I was half expecting her to put her gun wrong together and wind up getting attacked because the gun wouldn't work.
