FCB Group Sub November Discussion Thread

I'm guessing really, really cheap. Companies that are run like Beckett either close eventually or the board fires everyone and starts over with a competent team. Incompetence only lasts so long before change is forced.

yea, it stinks that their system went down.... have me on pins and needles here haha.

I received my 10-Day sub today. I've decided doubling the number of corners and surface area on booklet cards makes them impossible to grade really well. I've subbed 4 and have yet to see a grade above 8.5.

Also the centering killed that Goodwin Champions auto. I figured it would but it's also one of the harder Ryan autos to pull this year so I think I'll just stick with it.

Yep - tomorrow! BGS is still having internal computer issues thus causing the lack of the pop dates in a timely fashion.

Will they actually post the grades online or do we have to wait to get them back?

Do you use anything other than your eyes to judge your cards? Most of the stuff I send in gets 9.0 or under.

I'm 14/15 which is among my best submissions. I may have been more strict about the cards I sent in this time though I don't really remember. I also thought the Brian Goodwin could be my first 10 but I guess not. Too bad we can't see the subgrades on the Beckett website.

I usually just send in stuff I've opened from case breaks. I honestly just glance at centering and the corners and use one of those little soft cloths you get for cleaning your computer screens to make sure the surface is clean. I'm was at 66.8% in the past 12 months (1,448 submissions)
