Got the Orioles Program from 2012 Spring Training and gave it to my son. He thought it was pretty cool, but evidently, he doesn't know the players too well just yet. Had no idea who they were. I think at his age, it's still more of an association with the logo and team name than players. I think our trip to Camden Yards last summer really turned him into a fan b/c he had such a great time at the park. Of course, how can you not have a great time at that park. It just a great ballpark.

I agree. We went last year and I was surprised at how nice it is compared to the newer stadiums considering it was built in 1992.

Yes, it has a great "feel" to it. We went to Yankee Stadium over the summer, as well as Fenway with the boys and they really enjoyed seeing the different parks. They all have a special something though that makes them unique in their own way. The museum at Yankee Stadium is something I've never seen the likes of at any other ballparks. But the overall feel of the stadium is just that it is too big! Of course Fenway is too small and cramped. We didn't get to go into Citizen's Bank Park, although we tried to get in on a tour but were too late. Perhaps this summer we'll try again. I really like the way Philly laid out all the stadiums next to each other. Hope to get to National's Park and Tampa too if we can this summer, though I've heard people say the Trop is a dump. Only other stadiums I've been too are defunct now! Montreal and Astrodome. They were bizarre places to watch a game - indoors and astroturf. Very weird. Though I loved how in the Astrodome you could sit in the front row of the field and literally rub the heads of the guys in the bullpen! LOL. They were super friendly during the game too, talking with the fans the whole time.

If you come down to the Trop this summer let me know. I live about 40 minutes south

I compare the new Yankee stadium to a casino. Marble and flat screens everywhere. The museum is nice though. The Braves have an awesome museum at their park. They have a locker for every one of their division championships with newspapers and equipment from the year represented. They also have a portion of a train car that they used to travel back in the day.

The Phillies stadium is nice but its 2nd to the Pirates stadium IMO. I love that place.

I know Poison was in the set, as well as Maiden (remember seeing a Nikko McBrain card, one of my old bands used to cover "The Trooper"). Metallica is most likely there, I need to double check.

OK guys, no Metallica, but lots of Poison (including 3 different Bret Michaels!) and Maiden. Any other 80's metal/hair band fans that want some of these? There's Anthrax, Megadeth, Winger, Testament, Motley Crue, AC/DC, and a ton of other horrific mullets.

Very well said.

If the card or cards you're claiming don't fit in your PC then you're not going with the rules of the thread. The title is "Free to a good home" and not free to a home where they will be flipped or traded for something better

It was ok in the beginning...until the vulture(s) ruined it, for me anyway. But, I could see it coming. Actually it's pathetic and sad to tell the truth. Plus i only got 1 of my requests...to the 4-5 i shipped out. Not whining, just disappointed. If you don't want to send to Canada...just lmk, i understand.
