Why make that a redemption? Aren't there live Maeda autos already? I think Gypsy Queen, why do that crap with his most sought after card?

That is crazy for anyone to buy a redemption card for that much with the history of redemption issues we have seen!

Redemption card or not, what idiot would spend several thousands of dollars on a 28-year-old Japanese pitcher who will start out hot and then fizzle or get hurt in a few years like every one before him.

Maybe a rich Japanese fan of his will buy it. At least it won't go to some prospector or speculator that will loose his ass and end up hating the hobby. This hobby has lost too many failed prospectors.

It will be someone from Japan...or at least somebody who is Japanese.

Hmmm, eBay Mobile shows it sold for $15k.

They don't list the true amount when it ends via BO. Use watchcount.com to see the correct amount.

The longer I'm in this hobby, the less sense it makes.

No...the autographed rookie card stuff has never made sense. Any player's card that goes for this much would have to end up being the greatest player ever for it to be worth the money.

then again it could be a repack manufacturer who is willing to pay whatever it takes to get the card to put in their release and use in marketing materials.
