I hated third , didn't mind fourth shift = rotated shifts same week . That was at PD . Old department didn't have locks on doors new one does LOL

Yeah, I work two nights and two days every week.
Never work more than two days in a row which is nice.

No , I was trying to get on with another department but neighbor was a captain . In early 1970's no college needed . Computer / communications class I took only teacher and my self DID'T have weapons in class . Liked job but was transferred to second shift . I tell the new officers I meet that I used to get paid to tell them were to go .
I handled burglar alarms - train would set off lots in town , tape recording , computer records and dispatching . Access to criminal records was monitored .

Good morning all. After 10 weeks, I can now say I'm an EMT. Now, on to the fireside. We had our 1st live burn yesterday and it was an awesome experience. The next 10 weeks are going to fly by.
