Makes me think that the Philadelphia A's just sucked and Mays had a rubber arm. I imagine not a lot of deep counts but it still had to be over 200 pitches on the day.

Baseball reference doesn't have box scores until 1916 so I can't get any details.

Walt Dropo: Amazing two days.

I slotted him at #5 for now but couldn't go higher because of the lack of HR.

The criteria is back to back days so he wouldn't qualify for this list, but no doubt he'd be at the top for a list of the greatest back to back starts.

You're both right. I'd change the title if they let me, but I guess the explanation in the first post will need to suffice. If anyone wants to post pitching consecutive pitching starts, I'll eventually start a separate post for pitchers.

Josh Willingham as the last guy to have a two grand slam game. On the list for now, but it probably won't last.

July 26th - 1 for 4, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 R
July 27th - 3 for 5, 2 HR, 1 2B, 8 RBI, 2 R

Rickey is one of 2 guys to ever lead off both games with a bomb. Not sure what his other at bats were during those games.

Josh Reddick had a couple of monster games in Toronto this past season:

August 9, 2013 OAK @ TOR: 3 for 5, 3 homers, 3 R, 5 RBI
August 10, 2013 OAK @ TOR: 2 for 4, 2 homers, 2 R, 3 RBI

In the last 2 games of the series he went 1 for 5, but was walked 4 times.

In looking up some possibilities, I ran across an interesting grand slam fact from Baseball Almanac. There have been 13 AL and 9 NL players to hit grand slams in consecutive games. Babe Ruth is the only player to hit grand slams in consecutive games twice. Craziest name on the list? David Eckstein. Followed closely by Dan Gladden.

AL - Willie Aikens, Albert Belle, Mike Blowers, Jim Busby, Rob Deer, Bill Dickey, David Eckstein, Jimmie Foxx, Dan Gladden, Ken Griffey Jr., Greg Luzinski, Brooks Robinson, Babe Ruth
