super excited. the kid drafted from my high school has a card. I was going to chase all numbered parallels of his until I saw how many garbage parallels there are now. Damn, maybe ill just chase /50 and less.

Just finished my star chart.

I have (2) 5-star, (12) 4-star, (29) 3-star, (10) 2-star and (9) 1-star.

I give this checklist a B+ overall.

Looks to be an exciting product and with the auto checklist being reduced to the low sixties, it should be an interesting break. Thanks JP for posting the info. Anybody here planning to break boxes or cases?

If I can find cases at sensible prices I would actually bust a few. Definitely not buying in the current 1400-1500 range.

Agreed, I planned on pre-ordering a couple of cases but I wasn't comfortable with the prices I was getting. I also don't expect prices to come down much short term. That leaves buying singles I am interested in and looking towards 2019 Bowman for case breaking.

Is it true that jumbo boxes are pre selling in the $175 range? If so, Topps can keep them. I remember when hobby boxes were $65. Then, they decided to stop those and have jumbo and super jumbo only. The former then became $120, but they gave you two extra autographs. Now they jack the price up and extra $55 on regular jumbos and give you garbage. Just because you're the monopoly, doesn't give you the right to mug the consumers. Where's the masks?

add in the humongous amount of autos in a set now. most of which would bring a few bucks. I miss the days of the 15 auto checklists. Even if it means getting the occasional "SOTF" auto. lol
