I went to a specialist last year and he confirmed it too. He said sleeping like that puts constant stress and pressure on your ligaments so there always inflamed and irritated, then when you throw a baseball with violent motion you get that sharp pain because its already irritated. It's almost like an impingement but worse.

Good morning boys!

@Sjrmn91 - my wife and I have enjoyed Once Upon a Time very much so far. A friend of hers is on the editing team for it.

Brad - nice PC add!! The Maris is very nice, but I have a few irons in the fire right now...

Yep, do you sleep with your arm under your pillow with your arm raised above your head by any chance? Pretty sure this is how my problems started. Slowly over time it just got so stretched out. Never had any arm problems my whole life playing until I stopped playing every day after college.

Man, that sucks. I'm sorry. Do you think it could be rotator cuff? I'm 33 and wondering when this is gonna happen to me...as a pitcher/QB/three point shooter I'm dreading it. I know my days are likely numbered when it comes to throwing. Does it hurt less when you put a little rainbow on the throw as opposed to winging it (and does it ever hurt when you swing)?

I sleep on my left side with my arm under my pillow almost like I am resting my face in my hand. In that angle. Man so does that if I change my sleeping habits they will not go back on their own, I have to have it surgically repaired?

Morning part 2

So yesterday, the old lady and I go to a couple-5 places and look for a new set of furniture for our great room. The 1 we have seems to have blew out a couple of springs in it, and for almost 10 years I'm surprised it lasted this long. So anyway, I said hey lets just get a 2-3 piece set for around say 800- 1000 and then move 1 of the couches from the old set to the front room and up grade the TV in there as well.So we will spend around 1400 total and change 2 rooms.

She says sounds good to me. She was out and about for the past week looking and took me to said places, to see her choices. Because you know an happy WIFE is a happy life. Well she and I <head looking down at the floor> Settle on a nice set at a furniture store. Only thing it cost us 1469.64 tax and delivered, so it looks like the TV in the front room stays the same and it is one that you have to have a special box (analog to digital) to watch anything and it only gets about 40 channels of shat I don't even watch anyway on it. So actaully no one really sits in there anyway::facepalm::

It was a long 20 minute ride home, with me not talking to her since she settled on more then I wanted to on just 1 room. Oh and we got a chair for free and I told her it will not go with the other 2 pieces in the room we are putting it into. She oh yes it will. I'm not sure since the chair will it is about....not kidding 38 inches wide with the arms and seems bigger the the one I was looking at.

Oh well 23 years of marriage and less then 2 more until, I get out after 25 with a pension. Preferably mine

If I throw more over the top it's fine, so if I have time on my throws its ok. But balls in the hole & turning double plays where I have to throw 100% are where it hurts like hell. Pretty sure it my rotator cuff & ligament damage. Doesn't hurt any other time than throwing 100%

Gotta get them closer to when you will be here. I was going to go out this past weekend, but it was windy as hell. I am still down to play.

I hope it warms up in the next 2 weeks. I read that the temp was around 51 degrees in the desert. Last year on March 17th, it rained/hailed in Gilbert. Friends live off of Riggs Road east of the hospital you work at. Hwy 10?

2003 in college I had the same problem with my left shoulder. There are exercises with bands to tighten it back up but it will take time & that's still no guarantee. Only way I can avoid sleeping on my arm like this is to sleep on my couch, only way I can stay on my back. I used to do hour of weight trading then hour of shoulder rehab exercises back in college. Band work and weight balls for my shoulder

Gotta love finally making a sale when you need the money and give the fcb member 6 weeks to pay, you find out he's been active and had to have gotten your message yet not responded, and that he's spent quite a chunk on other stuff while supposed to be saving for your card.

This really sucks and is very irritating. You go out of your way to help fellow collectors, and this happens? Total BS, IMO.

Pay me, please don't play me.

I will be working at that one. Well depends...if you are talking about Chandler Regional or Mercy Gilbert. Chandler is on Dobson and Mercy is on Val Vista. Warming up this weekend actually.

Wife is watching Downton Abby, it seems like a good series on PBS. Oh and the great gomo- ini is watching it as well.

My wife and I watch this show too - we burned through every episode from the series premier to the most recent one in just a couple weeks. If you can get through the first episode or two (and can adjust to the accents), it's well worth it and a decent show to watch as a couple.

Alex, it's Val Vista. Which courses do you recommend? Our group isn't wanting to pay more than $75 for 18 holes. I check Golfnow.com almost daily looking to deals.

Being Scottish myself and having family that talks with heavy accents I can easily get there this. But for the wife see watches it with sub-titles anyway
