True, but I'd rather just not buy the card at all. If he brings the price back down I'll think about it, but otherwise he can keep it :). It's a sweet card I'd love to add to my PC, which is without question the finest Alomar collection in the world, but in the end it's a piece of cardboard with pictures of a dude on it. I'm good.

* If you suspected that the statement "finest Alomar collection in the world" is a shameless attempt to smoke out other collectors, you know me too well.

Trust me. They never lower prices.

Cheap little lot of Big Sexy cards and figured I'd pick it up since it had two of those ponderous gold cards:

Got these in today!
Still can't believe I got the 97 for under $100.

Does anyone know if PSA will grade these?

Got mine today, picked it up for much less than I thought. I have to wonder if the timing of the auctions on eBay didn't affect the prices. I saw an ungraded copy listed and as I was about to try to make a deal on it the graded version popped up. My first thought was maybe these aren't as rare as they are thought to be. I also saw how these were labeled by BGS and it made me wonder more. I knew the consensus here was that they were rare, but I thought maybe there was an unknown quantity that were now being sold or something. In looking at the sale prices, I didn't see a great disparity among different players, which makes me player collectors weren't aggressively going after them. In any event, I'm very pleased to add this one. ImageUploadedByFreedom Card Board1485474259.315287.jpg

Well, after much deliberation, I finally joined the Crusade...

Now I'm on the lookout for some nice green and purple Fonzies.

Been after this one for a while...and man they look awesome in person. Saw that someone else also found their player in the gold /100 version too! Glad people appreciate Pinnacle Plus. Sure wish more golds popped up more often.
