Hoping LaRoche heads to Milwaukee. He would fill a Grand Canyonesque gap there.

Will add these when I'm home
Declined: Josh Johnson, markakis, hundley
Picked up: Chen, O'day
Updated in OP
JJ ? Declined ??? Stunning ...
haha are you being sarcastic? 4 mil for JJ doezn't seem bad, although it was reported that they are trying to work out a smaller more incentive laden deal which seems like a great idea.

Didn't know he had such a large option. Seems like a lot to pay for Haren

It was a player option - considering what Haren might have inked for as a free agent, I think it would have been stupid to decline a $10M option. Had the Dodgers had the option instead of Haren, I doubt the Dodgers would have picked it up. Good news is that $10M is practically nothing for the Dodgers.

Oh a player option. That makes way more sense.

The Blue Jays have made a number of moves in the last week or so. No really notable guys but I figured I'd mention them.

- Claimed 1B Justin Smoak off waivers from Seattle.
- Traded minor league C Santiago Nessy to KC, re-acquiring minor league P Liam Hendriks (who had been traded to KC at the deadline in the Valentia deal).
- Claimed OF Andy Dirks off waivers from Detroit.
- Signed P Jeff Francis to a minor league deal with an invite to ST.

Ramirez picked up his side so he will be back! A bit surprised but it is said that he loves Milwaukee so it makes sense.

Who do you all think will receive QO's? Here's the list of who I think will be offered QO's by the deadline today:
Braves- Ervin Santana
Orioles- Nelson Cruz
Tigers- Victor Martinez and Scherzer
Royals- James Shields
Dodgers- Hanley Ramirez
Yankees- David Robertson
A's- Jon Lester
Pirates- Russell Martin
Giants- Pablo Sandoval
Blue Jays-Melky Cabrera

That is it IMO. Does anyone accept? I think Robertson would be most likely but I don't think that he will.
