Guy mine as well retire, can't see any team being realistic and paying more than 21-22 million a year tops. He is average and his numbers are inflated playing in that little league stadium

I'll take Pedey at 8/$110mil anyday over what Cano is asking. Actually Pedroia's contract may hurt Cano, as every sane person knows he is not worth 3x [hell even 2x] that. I'd say in the 6/$130mil range is about right in terms of his value.

Oddly enough his splits are near equal. He is slightly better on the road, but more HR at home.

Don't make ignorant comments.
Cano hits more homers away, and his other numbers are basically identical, as Scotty216brs wrote.
Home: 11 home runs, 55 rbi, .514 slg%
Away: 16 home runs, 51 rbi, .523 slg%

Funny let's compare his stats in AL East Stadiums. Here are his stat lines in each stadium scaled to 629 AB (his career average of 162 games)

Rogers Centre:

.288/.347/.804 | 181 Hits, 64 Doubles, 14 Home Runs

Yankee Stadium:

.312/.369/.907 | 196 Hits, 41 Doubles, 32 Home Runs

Tropicana Field:

.321/.363/.918 | 202 Hits, 32 Doubles, 36 Home Runs

Fenway:

.338/.383/.941 | 195 Hits, 60 Doubles, 21 Home Runs

Camden Yards:

.360/.407/.987 | 209 Hits, 50 Doubles, 26 Home Runs

I'd hardly say that his stats are inflated by Yankee Stadium.
