BREAKING: Outfielder Ronald Acuña and the Atlanta Braves are finalizing an eight-year, $100 million contract extension, league sources tell ESPN. The deal includes two club options.

My eyes lit up when I read this....what an unbelievably incredible deal for the Bravos!

I was disappointed when the Braves failed to put their money to use and sign a couple quality bullpen arms this offseason and while I'm still pissed (cuz our pen is still a hot mess), this totally takes away most of the sting.

Fantastic move by the Braves and stability to begin a professional career for Acuna. Braves fans should be extremely excited their club made this happen and that Acuna agreed.
