How often does "right forearm strain" not turn into "visited Dr. James Andrews" and then "scheduled for Tommy John surgery"?

It's a shame that such a talented pitcher just can't stay healthy.

Unfortunately, that's true. It's exactly what happened to Kris Medlen this month.

and Patrick Corbin. Amazing how you go from hearing he's the opening game starter in Sydney, to came out of his last U.S. spring tuneup start with a forearm strain, then announced he's going to have TJ surgery.
