Both hit home runs back to back in their first major league at bats.

Could anyone find if this has happened before?

Austin's just cleared the wall while Judge's hit off the glass in dead center field. Center is 408 feet so it might have went 425 to 450

First time ever in the same game and also first time back to back.

Time to list the Tyler Austin rainbow.... :D
Seriously, as of a month or two ago I thought that was a sunk cost...

Last night at 11:30, Judge and teammates were at a restaurant with their manager who told Judge he got the call.

Judge, who was in Rochester, went back to his hotel room to sleep but the fire alarm went off and couldn't fall back to sleep.

So he decided to drive to Yankee stadium and arrived at 6:30 in the morning.

First Home Run ever to hit the restaurant above the glass. Only the third ever to hit the restaurant at all.

not sure how it could have happened with this pair considering segedin's ONLY homer came not first career at bat , but in his 13th GAME while toles was already playing in his 18th game when he hit his first.....

please note - the feat accomplished by judge and austin were the first players to go back-to-back in their first career at bats.....not simply picking up their first career homers back-to-back...

Eh so I forgot about the first at bat thing, but it was two rookies back to back for their first home runs, so sue me ;)
