I grew up in St Louis during the late 1990's and as a teen attended #62 . Pretty cool memory. I begged my dad to sell our tickets to a scalper on the way in, but he insisted we go. I think I probably still have 50 each of the #62 and #70 Post Dispatch papers tucked away in a closet.

Picked up a large McGwire collection about 8 years ago. I sold off all the #/100 or less inserts but there are still about 1,000 cards left - including tons of regional/oddball types from the Oakland late 80's era. If you have a wantlist feel free to PM me. Unfortunately I do not have them all digitally cataloged like much of my inventory. Pretty sure though that I can scare up links to a series of about 100 pictures on photobucket though.

Just an FYI this is not a refractor 252081359099. Looks like the seller finally clarified that in a comment but didn't update the listing. Someones going to be disappointed when they get that!

^^^ Maybe one of the first times I have seen a sig in that spot on a Classic card, kinda neat. I have a Clark puzzle that has a spot , I have always wondered if anyone actually had it signed.

1980s San Jose Mercury news McGwire Drawing card

I am looking for this, if anyone wants to sell.

Also looking for a 1989 Blue Chip McGwire....but who isn't.

Thanks

I won this tonight. I have the dual with Sosa from this same set.

Can not recall the last time I saw this card up for sale. Was going to go after the 2015 tops redemption auto w/ Griffey that has been up but this was hard to not go after. Pretty stoked about this one !

That card is so awesome. But you guys are right, of all the milestones, why 9k? It sure is though one of the nicest looking mcgwire cards I've seen in '15.

Anyways, I've been watching the '15 tek's filtering in. Checklists pin McGwire in an A's uni for his base cards but a cardinals uni for Autos - yet the first auto that popped up was an A's uni proof. Any idea if the cardinals uni is a typo and they are all A's?
