We’re in Cincy for a few days for a music festival but days are mostly clear. We’re going to the Braves/Reds game today and naturally thoughts turned to cards. Found a thread from five years ago but was wondering anyone has current knowledge of good shops in the area. We rented a car and are going to your breweries and distilleries, because hats what you do when you have a car, but would love to hit up a shop or two along the way. Quick google search points to a place called Ideal as being good. Any others we might look at?

Just saw Acuña hit his first career homer. Deep to left.

Sorry for late reply:

YES, Shoeless Joes. Ideal Baseball Cards is just down the road from Shoeless Joes and is very heavy in to vintage. His shop is loaded with rotating cases full of cards. Lebanon Candy & Cards is about 30 miles north in Lebanon, OHio. Hooterville Cards in in Fairfield, Ohio. His shop is stacked and packed to the walls with 'you name it'.

Dont go to Dean's Cards as its not really a store. It's a warehouse full of cards with no store front. They only do online. Wont let you local pickup either. Stay away from Sports Investments, CEI Sports and Sports Gallery. They have nothing to do with baseball cards. Manly framed/autographed memorabilia (unless this is what your after).

If your in town on Saturday/Sunday - the biggest card show of the year is in town at Moeller High School (Ken Griffey Jr - Barry Larkin HS).
