Every unlicensed set from 1983-1987 is now available on the website. I had MOFNY customize his code to allow me to easily embed flikr images in the website. Now I can basically export data from database, use a table to html converter, paste the html into the website and you see what you get in the links. Of course, it's time consuming getting everything scanned and out into flikr, but alot of the scanning is already done. I can't recommend MOFNY highly enough. Only 500 or so more sets to go...

You might also include the 1985 Yankees/Mets Police set(s). According to Beckett and SCD, they weren't licensed by either the team, the Kiwanas or any actual police department.

Hmm, I may to acquire some of those. I think I have the '86 Mets with Dykstra.

That's really cool. Thanks for doing it, especially the scans. I'd forgotten about the Cunningham set, which was just like the Broder sets. I still have lots of different Cunninghams, Broders and Action Superstars. The photography was great.
Dealers always had tons of them at shows in the late '80s.

And a big thanks to tpeichel for including me in the project.
I'm going to be making improvements based on his suggestions.

So far the site is looking great, and he has put a lot of effort into it.

If anyone else would like help improving their personal sites, let me know.

What about Star and Mother's Cookies?

I believe Mother's Cookies were licensed?

As far as the Star Company sets, I've always wanted to take a crack at them, but acquiring that many sets and promos, some of them quite expensive, always seemed daunting. Plus, I had heard that someone had already done a website of the Star Company sets. If people wanted to contribute scans I certainly could add them.

Great site Tim. So far it looks like you have scans of all the Puckett's but if you come across any that you need scans for let me know.

Let me know if this is something you will be doing in the future. I have Star sets of Mattingly and maybe others put away. I think you and I worked together on The Bench when you were doing the Broder types. I remember scanning Mattinglys for you. Nice work! Also, are you actively updating that cameo link? That could be endless. Thanks again, Kevin in CT.

What about all the O'Connell & Son Ink sets (series) from this era? Think they would be a great addition to this list.

True, I almost always forget they are unlicensed because everyone treats them as a licensed product. COMC avoids Broders, but will list these. Add it to the to-do list.

This could easily become a full-time job...

The cameo project will be ongoing. I have to build the html table from my database every time, so I will update when I have a fair number of new entries. A Star Company project is possible. Let me chew on that a little bit. Does anyone know of the website that used to have all the Star Company information? I'd hate to redo all that work.

Thanks! I tend to buy the set and then list on eBay so I generally get scans of the stars. I only started doing that a year ago though, so there may be things I had at one time that I failed to scan and sold off.

Hmmm... never realized COMC wouldn't list Broders. That's kind of unfortunate.

I certainly tried, same with the magazine inserts but they were all returned. I did get them to accept some new sets like the Folz Minis, 1990 Cadaco Discs, etc., but they were reluctant to add anything that was even a little bit hard to identify.

I was hoping that they would add them when they decided to make their price guide, but it seems it is not to be.
