Yea, that final price was higher than I expected as well. However, that's how the market has been for awhile now.

True, and it's one of the nicest /100 refractors of him out there IMO. I also believe that those refractors are printed less than /100 due to the errros in non refractors being labeled refractors. It's possible that there are less than 100, just speculation but the Early Road to the Hall had some press/printing errors so who knows.

One of the favorite cards/sets of all time from the 90's just classy.

Hi everyone. I finally got my account approved. I want to send a special thanks out to magicpapa for his help. I'm the owner of the sealed set 1994 Griffey Jr Topps Superstar Sampler that he mentioned in the above post. If anyone is interested in buying let me know. I also have the complete 1994 Topps set that it came out of as well.IMG_20141118_135412_397.jpgIMG_20141118_135425_954.jpg Thanks!

Thanks! Both of those autos are really clean you picked up! Are you going to pick up the Supreme Stylings ones? Would love to see a rainbow of those.
Thanks! I'm not looking to add any more to my collection at this time as I'm just going to wait on getting my tier one 1/1 triple patch auto that I have been waiting forever on but I know will be coming one of these days. Thanks again!;)

Ken Griffey, Jr. 1989 Autographed Buyback

Upper Deck had Ken Griffey, Jr. autograph 100 copies of his landmark 1989 Upper Deck card, and inserted them into Series One packs. To differentiate this card from an ordinary 89 UD card (and to confirm the authenticity of Griffey's autograph), each card contained an additional hologram. (BTW they are not #ed )

Okay Junior collectors. I would usually never post something like this, but based on the card that was up for auction and what it meant to me, I have to.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121514446820?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649

That is the URL for the 99 Crown Royale Cramer's Choice Premiums Light Blue card of our man Griffey Jr.

The significance to me with this card is that it is the last one in the set I needed to complete the rainbow: Dark Blue /35, Green /30, Red /25, and Gold /10...I have all except the Light Blue.

These Jumbos typically sell between $90 and a max of $180. I probably should have hit the Buy It Now option for $300 to ensure I get it, but didn't thinking no one else would put in a bid higher than $200. Well, I was mistaken.

To not keep dragging this out, I would just like to know who ebay id: o***e (1783) is so I can reach out to him/her to possibly work out a deal in trade or cash. I'm not sure if this person is new to the game of collecting Junior, but I have been collecting him since 1993 and would really appreciate any help on this one.

Thank you all and sorry for the long winded message!

Have a great night everyone!

Marco
