Post 1952, name a HOF player whose second year card is worth more than their rookie card in the same PSA 8 or PSA 9 grade.

It's Brett . The 76 Topps Brett is a super tough graded card. Zero 10s out there

Cool trivia! But I didn't know the answer. I think future HOFer Jim Thome will fall into this category as well. His 1992 Bowman card is worth more than his 1991 Bowman RC and I'm guessing that will hold true after grading.

i was already thinking along these lines with the 92 bowman pedro martinez versus his 91 upper deck final edition....

edit to add - my other thought was a player whose rookie card was in the a low series while his second card was either in the high (or even semi-high) series , especially of a condition-sensitive set like 1962 or 1971 topps....

I've posted this question a couple times in the past.

There's only one baseball hall of Famer pictured as a Yankee on his Topps rc. Who is it?

Also, there's a Football hall of Famer pictured as a Yankee on his Topps RC.
Who is it?

Its not a PSA 8 or 9 but...

The 1990 Topps PSA 10 Ken Griffey jr > 1989 Topps Traded PSA 10 Ken Griffey Jr

and

The 1990 Topps Tiffany PSA 10 Ken Griffey Jr. > 1989 Topps Traded Tiffany PSA 10 Ken Griffey Jr.
