I remember seeing that card listed in Beckett at the very bottom of the 1992 Topps card. This was before me and my friends knew what "AU" was... or who Brien Taylor was for that matter. I just knew it booked for $150 and I was going to pull it from a Target pack. Never did.

I don't think anyone ever pulled it from a pack. If I remember correctly, you could only get it from the special Topps Gold factory set that year.

I always had a thing for the 1992 Topps Cal Ripken card. Has him next to the Lou Gehrig plaque before breaking the record and is a nice shot of Cal.

You couldn't tell me that! I was dead set on pulling it. Just like I was dead-set on pulling an 89 Topps Traded Griffey RC from 1989 Topps packs... and Desert Shield cards from 1991 Topps packs. They looked the same, so I figured they must be in there somewhere! Ah, to be a kid again.

Ah, I got another good one! This one was huge around here, though I'm not sure if it had to do with me being a Maryland native or not. The Orioles version was a "Super rare error" card and had a whole lot of hype behind it at one point.
