Antbody notice Meijer jacked up their blaster prices?

I ment to post this a couple of weeks ago after I went to Meijer to see their cards. They jacked up their blaster prices to 21.99

I really hope Target and Walmart are not next.

Sometimes a hobby shop is not around. Meijer is just like Target or Walmart.

Wow. I had no idea, the one here by my current work location in Kentucky just jacked the price up 2 weeks ago.

I just wait for them to offer a 25% off one day only thing on general merchandise I then go there and buy blasters and only blasters LOL

Cool! I don't guess they have any of these in the South or else I'm sure I would've at least drove by one at some point.

For 2013 Topps S1, blasters at Walmart in my area (near Toronto) are $24.97, hanger boxes are $12.97, racks are $6.97. We always pay more up here.

Well actually some of the boxes are marked 19.99 and others are not.
I even think Topps stopped marking the blaster for the stores that wanted to sell them for more the the original retail price.

Hopefully Meijer continues to mark down old product. The last two summers that I have been back home in Michigan I have found the previous year's Bowman Draft blaster for 40-50% off. Both times at stores in the less populated northern parts of the lower peninsula.

Meijer store in SW Ohio have 15% off general merchandise just about every weekend, so I buy then. BTW, Toys R Us has had the same selection in our local store for the last 2 years, no one buys from them. I'm 30-40 miles from the nearest card shop, so Meijer or Target is the way I buy newly released product. I will say that from time to time, Meijer gets stuff that is 2-5 years old and sells them for $5.99 per box. Right now, Eastgate,OH store has 2007, 2008, 2009 UD boxes for $5.99. They even have 2010 Yankees only boxes for $5.99.
