Morning all, yesterday my wife said "your parents said Logan didn't sleep much today, so you should probably be good to sleep in tomorrow", and as such I was up with him at 4am and again now. I already texted her thanking her for the jinx, grr!

Howdy fellas. Short day at work. Just picked up some ribeyes and fresh corn. Now to figure out how to fire up my grill, in the rain.

Love ribeye... and corn... damnit your making me hungry.
MrMet we do have a few lakes with rainbow trout and steelhead. Most are a few hours hike away. My favorite is "blue lake" here. Have to hike the 2 hrs up this mountain then another 2 1/2 miles inland along the ridgeline. Sits at 2600ft, 200-300 ft drops on its north and south sides and a resident wolfpack. Absolutely beautiful. The forest service keeps a cabin there for use for hikers

These ribeyes are nicely marbled with fat, and right at 16 oz ea. Want a pic?

Those pics would be beautiful, if it wasn't for that white stuff.

Speaking of fishing, I get to run a Fishing Derby for 40 Cub Scouts tomorrow. Over/under on fish hooks I'm impaled with is 2.5.

Bought a flat of nightcrawlers (500) for the derby. Last year was $50, this year $68! Guess a cold Canadian winter has worms at a premium this Spring.

Uh, yeah

And the white stuff is all melted now. Old pics. We're actually setting a record for least amount of precipitation in may. At .72" for the month of may. Record is 2.75" set in 2010. Never mind the other 75" we've had the rest of the year
