Came across an interesting Frank Thomas group recently and decided since I had never seen anything like it before I would pick it up. Was referred to as “1995 Heavy Gold Chips” and there are 3 different variations. Just trying to figure out whether these are actually rare and what their background story is.
Each disc is gold in color and weighs a legit 2 oz. I also dabble in coins and these suckers are heavy and shaped like 2x thick rounds like you might find with silver or gold, and each had a card/disc on the front. Cool coins/disks! Just trying to figure out what they are worth and what the story is. Help anyone?
Forgive the ugly phone pic and I took it inside the plastic they came shipped in.
