Something of a wasted day as I really didn't much of a chance to get any more Dodgers as they left the field through exits that meant I had no access to them.

Los Angeles Dodgers Minor League Practice Fields
Chicago White Sox AA/AAA vs Los Angeles Dodgers AA/AAA

Had a nice full day at Camelback Ranch for the Dodgers minor leaguers while the MLB team was in Australia. Was able to get a couple of the Dodgers who were left behind in AZ to rehab although didn't see Greinke, Beckett, or Haren anywhere accessible. Carl Crawford left after one at bat, presumably to be with his wife who was expecting. Matt Kemp got 4 or 5 at bats and crushed a home run on one of them.

How is Casio suppose to be. I actually keep in touch with him and met him this offseason where he gave me his glove. Where Does it look like he will start the year at?

I actually approached Casio Grider for an autograph thinking he was Jesmuel Valentin as the roster I had showed his number 26 as Valentin but turned out it was changed. I was a little embarrassed since it meant that I didn't know him by face or anything. He seemed nice and all. He was playing in a AA minor league game so good bet would be he either starts with Chattanooga or starts at High A Rancho Cucamonga.

Cleveland Indians Major League Practice Fields

I had planned to drop by the Reds minor league practice fields as they wrap up around 11am before coming back for 1pm games but as I drove by I could see guys leaving the fields and just a few guys still out there. So I continued on the Indians side and the MLB guys were still taking BP ahead of their 1pm game. Did pretty well as most of the guys still out there stopped and signed after practice.

Although I didn't know it at the time, this turned out to be George Springer's last game in the minors as he was called up to the Astros. He must have sensed it as he hit a towering grand slam early in the game.
