Not sure where rsmath got his info...

1) Fenway Park, Boston – 1912

2) Wrigley Field, Chicago – 1914

3) Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles – 1962

where are the baseball historians?

Sydney Cricket Ground - 1882

hosted 2 MLB games... this year!!!!

mindblowing also in that it pre-dates fenway by 30 years and wrigley field by 32 years.

I will be there today.

Taking my little girl to her first game, so I figured with the festivities and everything else, today is the perfect time to go.

Hope you have a great time.
I'm willing to say that though I've never been to Wrigley, that it has always been there for me:)

Let's not Validate another DUMB Bud idea with this record...

And the amazing part of today's 9th Inning implosion is that they got Arizona's best player, Goldschmidt, out in the middle of all that!

Was a great day at Wrigley today, despite the loss.

Here's a 1914 postcard from my collection that shows the view exactly 100 years ago today.

And here's my attempt to recreate the scene today.

As an ex-Chicagoan "born and raised " Left in 1994, and an ex-Cub fan " finished in October 2003" The weather always SUCKED, Wrigley Field is a SHI t hole. Happy 100th now time to tear it down and start fresh. They will never ever win in that park, in that part of town, EVER!

I"m glad the baseball gods did their job - what would a Wrigley 100th celebration be without a cubs loss since you can look up losing in the dictionary and there is a pic of the Cubs logo. ;)
