So I love it when you come across a card you didn't know existed, especially when it is Japanese. That was the case with this one:

Thought it was kind of cool. Anybody have their player?

Very cool! Just found a minor league card I didn't know existed from 2002 a couple days ago. Not quite as cool as that one but its always fun!

That's pretty cool. Always nice to discover oddball stuff of your player! For me 2006 falls between the cardboard careers of my two guys - Olerud and Arencibia, so neither would be in the set.

Along the lines of Japanese cards, anyone chasing the Sega Card-Gen cards of the past few years?

This is the checklist for the two parallel sets. The regular parallel has a foil-board/refractor background, and the rare parallel has a kind of lattice refractor effect on the front.

M06001 Andy Pettitte
M06005 Barry Zito
M06011 Victor Martinez
M06019 Vladimir Guerrero
M06023 Miguel Tejada
M06026 Albert Pujols
M06032 Derrick Lee
M06040 Moises Alou
M06043 Ivan Rodriguez
M06049 Sean Green
M06050 Julio Santana
M06058 Carl Crawford
M06060 Nomar Garciaparra
M06067 Alfonso Soriano
M06072 Jason Bay
M06075 Mike Piazza
M06083 Pat Burrell
M06085 Tomo Ohka
M06094 Vernon Wells
M06098 Andruw Jones
M06105 Tadahito Iguchi
M06109 Miguel Cabrera
M06115 Ichiro Suzuki
M06120 Kazuo Matsui
M06128 Hideki Matsui
M06133 Ken Griffey Jr.
M06138 Manny Ramirez
M06140 Akinori Iwamura

Check SportsCardForum.com's Inventory Manager for oddball checklists. I've been loading hundreds of minor league, oddball and international checklists in there for the past 2 years.

This is the Konami Powerful Checklist that is included with blaster boxes.

The circles next to certain players denote the ones which have parallel like - refractor and atomic refractor versions. Most players do not have those parallels as previously discussed above in this thread.

I remember when I was in Japan in 1991 while in the USN, I wanted to find baseball cards so badly, but nobody seemed to know where to point me in the right direction. The language barrier didn't help any either. I heard from a few people that could be obtained at the stadium in Tokyo, but it was made to sound like they were complete sets and expensive. i never got to the stadium to check and I never saw anything in packs or stores except some soccer cards that reminded me of action packed cards. I don't understand why Japanese cards and other printed material are so hard to find unless they are just printed in a much, much smaller quantity. That would make sense in the past, if the market was primarily Japan, but with the internet now, your customer base in the world!

I got my team set when they came out that year, they're pretty cool. I see one pop up every year or so.

Anyone know where to track one of these checklists down?
