I have not thought about these for a while. Just browsing some old scans I had in my photo bucket account. I used to pick up a few issues of these Salute magazines when I was doing my military reserve weekends, as they often had sports stars on the covers and I am a packrat! McGwire was the best cover subject I came upon, but I had a few others as well. Wish I would have grabbed more, as I am sure they mostly ended up in the trash.

Finally added my most wanted jersey of all time. An authentic 80's-90's A's Mac batting practice Jersey .obtained in at A's fan fest event this past February.
Game issued , never worn, but you can bet your ass im going to wear it. Loved this style jersey early on as this jersey was work by many a's on those late 80's cards.

Do any of you own all the UD PowerDeck CD-ROM's of McGwire? I'm wondering specifically if any of them show video footage of his record-breaking 62nd homerun from 9/8/98, and if they do, if they happen to show him rounding first base and being congratulated by Mark Grace. You'd have to watch the videos on the CD-ROMs to determine.
What I'm looking for is footage similar to the 1:03 mark on this video:

Thinking it might be on the 1999 Powerful Moments P1 CD, 1999 Season to Remember CD, or 1999 #2 McGwire CD. Don't know if it might be on any of the 2000 CDs.

I picked up 4 large, sealed 24ct tins of 1997 Donruss Preferred yesterday. Two of them were of McGwire - 1 Blue and 1 Gold. If anyone's interested in these sealed, let me know before I rip 'em!
