$2500 isn't that much, considering what he makes.

$2500 is a lot, considering you most likely have never handed over that much money to a stranger.

It is the equivalent of buying someone a latte at Starbucks if you made $100,000/yr, and that someone had cancer.

There's no telling how many people he's bought such a latte for, however.

It is a nice gesture, regardless of the total amount given.

That was my thought as well. It's through his foundation and there's no way to know how many of these checks he's sending out to families
