If you tell me you correctly predicted Ryu to be the Dodgers' #1 guy, you're a liar.

Or that Zach Lee would fall to #5.

Another surprise in my book. Even with the time off due to injury, Matt Eddy still ranked Kelly as their #1. For me, it would have been Gyorko.

No Joe Ross??? Zach Eflin? Travis Jankowski?

Scratching my head, trying to figure out why they're so low on Blackburn. Never got that.

That's all 30 teams' top 10 lists. You can find #s 11-30 in the Prospect Handbook, which is supposed to ship next week. When I receive mine, I'll start up a new thread (if someone else hasn't already), in which you can ask me where your favorite guys ranked.

Interesting top 5 for the Padres. Surprised to see Rymer at 5. Padres do need a big year out of Kelly. Surprised as well to see no Joe Ross, and Span is still pretty high after a bad year.

Who would you best compare Hedges to if he were to reach his ceiling? There is some talk that Gyorko will be the starting second baseman this season. I don't see how Cashner is projected to be the future closer.

If he develops more pop, I could see him in the same sentence as d'Arnaud.

I sure hope so, I have a decent stash going. Hope he puts up big power numbers in the Cal league this coming year.

Corey Seager @ 3 for Los Angeles means I definitely will not be able to pick up his stuff, dammit.

Gary Brown at number 4 for San Francisco is surprising.

Jason Parks was on twitter a few weeks ago saying that Hedges has the chance to become an All Star catcher. Keith Law said that he is in his top 25. After seeing Hedges play, he should be the Padres top Prospect.

Yea, I thought he would be higher on BAs list but the Padres top five seems to be a shuffle.

anything of interest said about Matt Davidson, JP?

In the chat, someone asked how much more seasoning does Matt Davidson need at AAA before he gets a call up.

Bill Mitchell's answer: Close to a full season at Triple-A would serve Davidson well, but I could see him being ready, or close to ready, after a few months in Reno. However, be cautious when looking at his Triple-A stats because Reno is an extreme hitter's environment.

JP, anything said about Hedges? What's your take? Top 20 next year? Thanks.

Matt Eddy answered a Hedges question I had.

@Jaypers413 (IL): Does Hedges possess the defensive skills to surpass other above-average catchers such as Travis d'Arnaud and A.J. Jimenez, in time?

Matthew Eddy: I believe the answer to be yes, and I think Hedges is the best catching prospect in the low minors. The defense/throwing arm really separates him from backstops like Gary Sanchez or Will Swanner.

As for your other questions, if his bat turns out to be as good as his backstop skills, I don't see why he can't rank that high next year.
