Is anyone here familiar with the 2001 Donruss Elite Dominators set with cards serial numbered to 25? i wasn't aware of this insert until earlier this year. Then I saw a Pedro Martinez pop up on ebay and i grossly miscalculated how much it would sell for (auction ended at $36). The only other sale of a card from this set i can find on ebay is a Roger Clemens that sold for $62. Not shabby.

so - curious, are these terribly harder to find than other cards from 2001 numbered to 25?

how many of the player collectors here have their guy?

and - what do they look like in hand? photos on ebay appear to show a reddish tint.

thanks! can't wait to see the scans!

This is actually one of my personal favorites. I bought it off of a whim back in 2004 and I haven't seen one since
Very interested about magic papa's unnumbered version

[h=3][/h][h=1][/h][h=3]2005 Donruss Inside View[/h] This insert set was, for reasons that still remain unclear, withdrawn from production. However, again for reasons unclear, some Inside Views made their way into packs.
Originally, each card was to have been serial-numbered to 1000 copies with a Black parallel numbered to 50. The cards that made their way into packs are NOT serial-numbered.
It appears that anywhere from five to 25 copies of each card made their way into packs. A parallel refractor-like, "rainbow" version of these cards exist, however the print run is unknown.

Early 2000's mailday. Those UD 40 Man Electric Rainbows are tough - the checklist was so big! This is my second 2002, but have never found Grace's 2003.

They sure are tough. I was so stoked to knock my 2002 Rusty Greer off the list, but when I got it in hand it was hand-numbered. DOH! I have two of his 2003s - love them.

I don't know what to make of the hand-numbered ones. Burbank has had this one listed for a long time - but it's hand numbered "35/35" when they should be out of 40, even if a replacement. I don't consider this one legit. Was yours numbered out of 40?

For the 2003, at least I have this Grace cameo (card #/975). Would love the rainbow of his base card #491 though.
