Hi Scott- doing well! Thanks for keeping an eye out. The Jeter /2 is my next White Whale and the lowest numbered cards of the remaining. With the help of jpcz, I have the first White Whale (Ozzie 1/1) on the way. There are some hardcore Jeter collectors, so I can only hope they aren't pulled yet or a dealer has one and is going to sell it some day.

Sweet card of 2 jerks (from what I've seen of Johnson's off field demeanor and we all know the Roger story......)

I've got my eye on a similar card that I am sure you spotted....doubt I will get it though as I'm "cheapening" a bit.........

Did you see the Birdie Dual is back on EBAY???

Did you see the Birdie Dual is back on EBAY???

I just figured out what the "Birdie" dual was! I didn't get it at first... Ripken/Murray SOC. Yeah I am watching it. He's asking a premium for it being graded and Rip's number. Nice card, but $500 nice?? Hm...

He has had that card up many times recently, with noone biting. with the 30% off it might have been a nice pickup, maybe even now with 20%. I bought a card off him and talked to him about that dual, and he said he really isnt looking to move it unless he gets what he wants for it. THis whole set in general is blowing up price wise, let's just hope there is someone out there who doesnt realize it (and we are the first ones to see it). But 500 -20% (100) isn't too too bad for the card. 30% or 350 might have been even better...

Thought I would add into this thread... MaineMule had asked if I knew the number of different players that had autos in Ultimate Signature. I did a count, and the total is 153 different players.

Next I will tally up the total number autos distributed in the product just for kicks.

EDIT:

There were a total of 131,871 cards (+/- 1,000 or so: I do not know specific PR's for Decades Tiers 1-3)

Non-auto'ed cards: 82,500
Auto'ed cards (including cuts): 49,371

So...
131,871 @ 3 cards per tin : 43,957 Tins produced
43,957 @ 20 tins per case: 2,198 Cases distributed

There was a total of 44,093 on-card autographs (including cuts) attained for distribution. In my estimation, this had to have been one of the more monumental sets to package and distribute.
