I will go with cards I have owned. Lost a bunch of scans when my computer crashed. Here are a few from post comp crash:

Pretty sure I sold the Jordan Bams a little early. I got right around a grand for it. Last one closed at $1900!

Pre-2011 when Albert Belle was re-introduced to the hobby, this was a card I drooled over and kept a picture of which was sent to me by another board member who either owned it (and sold it) or saw it himself... Otherwise, that Cobb and Wagner cut is SICKKKKKK!

Yea love this thread idea. By the way, there HAS to be a story behind the Castro cut.... I'm guessing it was pulled and placed in a public place for people to add personal comments? Interested in the story if anyone has it...

I never heard much about it. The auction in '08? was slamming the card commpany iirc and said it was donating some/all? to a charity.

The owner of the card apparently disagreed with Topps’ inclusion of a Castro cut auto in its product, and covered the front and back of the card with his own social commentary towards the Cuban Dictator.
According to the Auction text, all proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Center for a Free Cuba.

Sorry - I would have been excited to say I owned/had owned any of those - THE only card I have ever been close to owning is a 52 Mantle Rookie.
