When discussing someone's Hall of Fame candidacy or legitimacy, one thing comes up a lot; championships.

I've never quite understood that. To me, making the Hall of Fame is the ultimate individual accomplishment. I realize that teammates help players achieve their individual stats, but they still count as individual achievements.

I think stats and individual awards should carry more weight than how many titles someone won because winning a title is the ultimate team accomplishment.

When discussing the greatness of a player, people refer to titles. People say that Brady is better than Manning or Marino because of the rings he has, but I don't think the rings make him a better QB. Don't get me wrong, Brady is great, but I don't think he's on the same level as Manning or Marino.

What are your thoughts?

It's an individual thing. Especially in football. Too many other things have to go just perfect that are way too beyond your control for a title. It's not fair to levy that against someone. However, extra kudos to someone who comes up big time when their teams needs them the most.

I think the limit on number of entrants each year is way out-dated.

The fact that CC isn't in is kinda nuts IMO...
