After breaking weak box after weak box, I decided I need to do something to change my luck, so I quit choosing the specific box to break and started letting the store owner pick my boxes. Well tonight he was busy, so his wife picked the box for me. I also seem to have better luck when I break at home rather than the store so I returned home, and started ripping wax. I hit my auto in the 3rd or 4th pack; Jamie Harper from group C

As the box progressed, I became a little more melancholy, as I was opening very little color. A Newton Bowman Chrome perked me up a little bit, but otherwise a dark cloud was forming over head as I neared my last 8 packs or so. Then, as I carefully turned the top card of a pack (I hold chrome cards by the edges as I hate getting fingerprints on them) I noticed a golden shimmer I had never seen before. I instantly began thinking the Golden Ticket song from Willy Wonka, one of my favorite childhood movies.

Yeah, it's not a huge name, but it's a super of a rookie who is getting playing time, so I'm more than happy.

Other cards of note were:

Ridley Die-Cut Superlative Rookies

Rookie Recognition:
Powell
Gates

Bowman Chrome:
AJ Green
Newton

Finest Freshman:
Alex Green
Powell
Gabbert
Ponder

Refractors:
Lee Smith - Atomic
Muhammad Wilkerson - Blue
Darel Scott
Lance Kendricks
Curtis Brown
Mike Pouncey
Jonathan Stewart - Black
Joseph Addai
Roddy White
Jimmy Graham
Julius Peppers

Nice break man. I always let Gilmore choose the box for me. I pulled a superfractor triple auto last month from a Finest FB box he pulled off the shelf.

congrats on you're Super pull!!!

Thanks man. I've thrown it up on ebay with a BIN/OBO to see what kind of offers I get on it. If I don't get an offer sexy enough to make me pull the trigger, then I'll probably just sit on it for a few weeks to see if he does anything.

I threw an offer up on it but will understand if you don't accept. My dad is a huge Badgers fan and I am sure he would get a kick out of the card. Nice pull.

Thanks for the offer but, as you anticipated, I'm going to hold off. I'll see what I can get over the next few days, and if nothing big comes in, I'll probably hold it for a few weeks. I'll keep the ebay message of your offer as a reminder to let you know if it becomes available later on.

Not a problem at all. All it takes is one decent/great game for the card to gain more value. To be honest, I completely forgot that Kendricks was even playing for a pro team until a couple of weeks ago when it looked like he was going to explode on offense but then fizzled out. Still 8 games left hold out some hope. I will be keeping my eye on the card.
