I got a fair deal on a couple boxes of 1998 Leaf Fractal Materials. I will have the boxes in hand next week if it looks like we can sell most of these slots.

I will allow a small window for participants to trade teams or players before the box break.

***PLEASE NOTE – not all teams are created equal, so I tried to make the lots pretty equal. I randomly highlighted just some of the stars. I also did not account for every single card. Somehow I missed a couple. Remember that trading is allowed. This break is perfect for the team collector and those wanting to experience some 90’s nostalgia.

Yeah, I'm cherry picking the Mariners. Haven't hit a big one yet.

Okay, guys. The best he can do is $190 dlvd for the two boxes. $190 divided by 15 lots is $12.70. If we add $3.30 for shipping and materials, I can probably bring it down to $16 if everyone pays via PayPal gift.

I don't know if cutting the price by $4 a lot is going to sell the rest of the lots, though. It's been really slow with this box break so far.

Yeah, for guys like you and Hendersonfan, it doesn't make sense. But for team collectors or guys that would have fun just participating in an old school box break of a great product, I think it's a great match. These boxes are hard to come by and they sell for way more than I'm getting them. It's been a really long time since I last saw one go on ebay, but I think it went for big bucks. Our Donruss Collections break went fast and we had great luck - I thought this break would go about the same even though the lot distribution is much different.

Yes, I think this died on the vine but I think Eric is onto something with these throwback breaks.... you guys think there would be an interest in a Group Break of 1998 Leaf Rookies & Stars?! Could be a pretty cheap break and there are some really nice inserts including Logevity, 1/1s anddddddddddddddddddd a chance for some Crusade action

Boxes of '99 Tek seem to be out there all the time but feel like 95% of people would rather do a '98 Tek break... those boxes are few and far inbetween

Yeah, I can't figure out why this box break failed so miserably. I thought it was on par with the other breaks I had done that filled up in 48 hours. I love Fractal Materials... who knows?
