Without hesitation I will call this one of the greatest trading cards ever produced. Not for sale:

yeah that is! beautiful card. in my opinion the greatest autograph set ever produced.

what's with the 7.5 on centering??? doesn't look to bad to me. should have got an 8.5 from the look of it?

Look at the gold stripe with the stars on it on the Manning side. Look at how far over to the right it is. Its at least 70/30. Still an amazing card though.

Yep, centering is just awful. On top of that the top of the card looks like it was hit with the pack sealer. :benson:

I assume most of those are in collections by now, but if one came up for auction what would it sell for? How about when the set came out?

Yeah lots of these are in PC's already and barely ever surface. The Manning/Unitas usually sells around 300-400 on average. The main card in the set is the Walter Payton/Barry Sanders dual.. easily a 1K+ card. I used to have both the Moss cards but had to sell unfortunately a few years back. Definately need to get those again. Plus i'm a Manning fan as well and would love the Peytons in the set!

As recent as 3 years ago the Manning/Unitas dual was knocking on the $2K mark. There was a stretch where the card never sold for under $1,500. Not tracked one in the last year.

Show me where I can buy the Manning/Unitas for $300-$400 and I will buy all them. Seriously dude, that card has never sold for under $1k since Unitas died...

Sorry yeah I meant to say the solo Manning. True that the Johny U/Manning sells for about 1,000-1200... The Payton/Sanders sells between 1500-1800... the solo Manning raw usually gets anywhere from 300-500!

Someone on the old BMB had the complete set of the autographs. That person may be a member here. One of the things that stuck out to me is that the checklist actually skipped some numbers. Not sure why that was.

I would do anything to have the set in all BGS 9.5! There are 3 of each of the Moss versions in BGS Gem but I've never seen one before surface? I would pay 4x book value for one of those no doubt!

Wow, that Manning/Unitas is absolutely great! Usually not a big football autograph collector, but I'd love to see one hit the open market. Unitas auto's are hard enough to find. Thanks for the pics!
