2008 UD Piece of History Box - 6 Hits w/4 color Pence Patch

Date Busted: 10/30/08
Overall Grade: A

Got 6 hits in a box that promises 3. That alone makes it a good break. 2 higher tier GU cards in the Pence 4-color patch #05/25 and the dual Pedro jersey #01/99 push the box up into an A grade. Hollywood memorabilia card was a jacket worn by Denzel Washington. The Upton jersey #23/25 is not a bad pull. Other hits were an unnumbered Jim Thome jersey and a Seth Smith RC logo auto #383/499. 13 other numbered inserts and 4 Yankee Stadium Legacy cards nicely rounded out the box.

but on the Pedro dual, is it supposed to be a jersey from the Red Sox and Mets, or just Mets?

If its supposed to be both, then they screwed up because ive never seen a blue piece on a red sox jersey

No, I don't think they matched the jersey to the picture. I was looking at it, and I actually think the two swatches are from an Expos jersey, which is kinda funny.

I do think they are supposed to be off each team on the card. Hence the cut from the cloth concept I think. I would call Customer support and see if you could exchange it for the proper card if you want.

See thats what I originally thought too, was that they had a piece from each team on there.

And now that I think about it, Brad could be right on being from the Expos, as I dont remember Mets having stripes on their uni's

I would definately call CS and try to find out because it is a very nice card!
