I just opened a case and man do they look cheap. Everything about the cards I pulled looked bad. The way they glued the cuts to the window, to the design is very poor in my opinion. What do some of you think that opened the product? I am sure the presidential cards might look nice, but what I saw was very poor.

I haven't done any, but from what I've seen posted most of the single cuts look pretty bad to me.

I'm not in love with the Cuts idea to start with, but all these autos off marked up pics, HOF plaque sheets, other "busy" items etc. look bad to me.

Just a plain auto on white and I would be happier with them.

I think legendary cuts has gotten worse every year it was put out, except the one year when there were on-card autos in the set, which were really nice. I've said it before but I can't stand cuts without at least a tiny pic of the player. To me, without the player on a card, it isn't quite a baseball card. From what I've seen of the 2011 cuts, this is the worst example yet, with horribly mishapen cuts, poor/lazy/non-existant framing of the autographs, and just overall bad card design. If I were to buy this stuff, I'd do it just for the chance of pulling a big hit and then sell it. From all the singles I've seen, I would not want to keep a single one.

I agree, thankfully I was able to convince myself to stay away. I feel bad for my buddies who did bust this product, it seems like almost no effort was put into the production of these cuts. Sure the big hits will bring some nice money but the majority of this product is beyond a swift kick in the nuts.. :|

I've always liked the idea of the cut auto. However,I don't like living players being in cut signature sets.I don't know about this one,as I haven't seen any checklists, but the cut auto got over done by using living players and producing so much of the passed on players.I don't like the idea of taking a small cut and putting it in such a big window.Maybe they should save the small ones for book cuts or something like that where there's less room.I like the idea of the cuts, but I just think they ran it into the ground.Unless of course you hit the big one. It's sad when Johnny Vander Meer sells for $35.I guess I'll be keeping my signed program even longer now.Not that I was going to sell it anyways. 8-)

The cuts in my case look nothing like that. They are really cut poorly and on one the cut is falling out of the window.

Looks like a real mixed bag. First case I saw broken by Chris of Hobby box on you tube most looked brutal. No windows and one of the cuts was chewed up. But since then I've seen some real nice one's with windows that looked nice.

At this one to the steaming pile of crap..... [ebay:d3qv8x9f]400220819590[/ebay:d3qv8x9f]

WOW! :o

I showed that to my wife and her jaw fell open. They should be ashamed of putting a product out like that. How can UD expect to get back in the game when they are putting out crappy high end products?

I would have been very upset if I had pulled that card. It's a shame that a once proud company who put out cutting edge products has fallen so far.
