Gotta rip those Rip cards..........Looks like a bit of damage repair after there were NO red ink autos in 2011 RIP cards.

Color me crazy, but I would think you can get a pair of GU Ryan Zimmerman pants for about $75, tops?

Maybe...but this for me isn't about the return or what they could be picked up for, it is about a company for the first time allowing someone to pull a redemption for a complete pair of GU'd pants, or whatever else it could be....not a patch or a swatch of them.

Not the first time......Jerseys and Bats have been given away; pants are on the cheap. Great idea but weak execution.

Pretty cool if you ask me but not worth 4 figures or even $500 IMO
This year's product has produced some amazing hits. Bat Barrels, Patches and Bat Knobs, and Jersey Nameplates. But this.....this next level of enjoyment....Is beyond amazing.

WOW...Just WOW.

One Hobby Box 2012 A&G Redemption 1/1 - Blowout Cards Forums

I guess so huh? Shocked they would tuck one of these puppies in one of those. Think if the guy was a collector of the player on the card which was ripped?! That would never had been pulled or uncovered :benson:

Exactly..... I'd sell it and not redem before selling
~but what could it be?

Everyone is saying that it MUST be something SUPER rare...

That or it's pieces of dinosaur bone (or likewise not rare) that they just didn't want adding weight to the box.

I think you have to be a true A&G SUPER COLLECTOR to buy that Relic Redemption w/o knowing the possibilities.

Years ago Upper Deck did redemption cards for full signed autographed jerseys.
I was lucky enough to pull one for a Larry Bird signed Mitchell and Ness jersey. I ended up buying redemption cards for a Barkley jersey, Peyton jersey, and a Peyton mini helmet.
I was able to buy the redemption cards for far less than buying the actual items from UD. UD also did redemption cards for used golf items as well.

I don't disagree with any of the above posts. I just thought it was a really neat way to put something of value in the product. And by neat way, I mean not having more autos of someone you don't want to get. Like Angel Pagan.

You can never get enough Pagan

Justin Huber in 2008

The only thing I would question is Allen & Ginter is probably one of their best selling sets. I haven't seen numbers I just see you crazy kids and your posts on here and the fact I have a stack of 2009 on my desk right now. Why not throw something like this in one of their new or questionable sets?

I agree...why not add it to all of their products (in moderation Topps). And make it like the Canary thing....

I don't want a pair of game used pants any more than I want their jock strap. What a lousy idea!
